LHP offers a range of IE2 and IE3 motors which aredeveloped in accordance with the new standard IS12615:2011 & IEC 60034-30:2008. This new energy efficiency standard is published by Bureau of Indian Standards & International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) which defines and harmonises efficiency classes

The use of IE2 and IE3 motors saves substantial energy, enhances the operational profit and helps is protecting the environment. These motors find applications in a wide range of industries and are ideally suitable for energy-intensive applications such as paper, pulp, cement, metal, textile, mining, chemical, fertiliser, pharmaceuticals, etc.

IE2 and IE3 motors have a higher operating speed as they have lesser slip compared to standard motors. When these motors are used with VFDs, they result in considerable energy saving.
